Are you getting BLASTED by Popups?

Everyone that uses the internet has more than likely seen a popup. They have become an annoying part of surfing the internet. Most of these are benign and can be closed quickly. Then there are popups driven by a program buried on your system that can eventually bring your computer to a screeching halt. By the time this happens it may be too late to save your system and a reload will be necessary.

A proactive approach to this problem is necessary to prevent damage to your system. What I mean by being proactive is using tools (some of which are free) to clean your system of spyware and adware. Using tools such as Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-Aware can scan your system and clean many types of spyware and adware. Microsoft also is developing their own tool to help fight this growing problem, and is offering this tool to Windows users.

The sooner you start blocking popups, the safer your machine will be. You will have to be diligent in order to stop popups from destroying your computer and make your internet surfing more pleasurable.
